In Bai Lihong's (MFA Painting) performance painting "Weeds", she invites us to participate in a visual meditation that unfolds along two parallel lines.

She explores the state of Asian identity amid different cultures, reflecting on the impact of diaspora consciousness on the lives and cultures of people; she explores the potential of space through the re-deconstruction of two-dimensional painting to express the interplay of Eastern and Western civilizations, traditions, and contemporaneity - she has drawn 20 long scrolls in ink, creating a world of surging energy in space combined with performance.
